There’s little to say…

I took a few photographs of the Sunrise today, there is little that needs said about them really, well sometimes pictures really do speak for themselves ;-)

Morning distractions

This morning we decided to have a run out in search of mist and magic, we did not want to drive far and sort had a trundle around some of the local roads. There is not much to say about the photographs, other than the castle is Brougham Castle near Penrith, the lake is Ullswater, and I really don’t know the name of the wood :-)

Silly Time

I decided to complete a quick pen & ink piece to get my eye and hand back into doing things. So I thought a quick submission for the theme of the month over at John Howe’s website was in order. This months theme is Head in the Clouds which is handy for someone living in Cumbria, I mean, we have our fair share of clouds to use as reference pieces ;-)

Anyway, not having time to complete a serious study of clouds, I scribbled something a bit quicker, first of all I completed the pen & ink version…

I then thought to myself, hmmm perhaps I should colour this pen & ink piece…..

Bl**dy Clouds II

I was nearly finished tinting the piece in Photoshop when Julie pointed out I’d spent around three times longer in Photoshop than I did with the pen & ink :-) Now I need to do something a bit more serious.

In the third person…
Someone suggested I write something about myself 'in the third person' to head up this column, but what do you write? Perhaps it would be better if someone else really did write this part - so if you know me feel free to write my introduction ;-)
