Today I received an email from Adobe offering Photoshop CS5 at a discount price, nothing unusual there really, Adobe like many other companies send out offers on email quite regularly. So, being in need of the full version of Photoshop I went to check out the offer.

Today I received an email from Adobe offering Photoshop CS5 at a discount price, nothing unusual there really, Adobe like many other companies send out offers on email quite regularly.

Is it just me or do the maths no longer add up? It would cost £230 more to upgrade an existing version than to buy a full version outright :-/ still, I’m often confused by software prices, and I still can’t afford the discounted price – one day…
