So I thought a quick submission for the theme of the month over at John Howe’s website was in order. This months theme is Head in the Clouds which is handy for someone living in Cumbria, I mean, we have our fair share of clouds to use as reference pieces 😉

Anyway, not having time to complete a serious study of clouds, I scribbled something a bit quicker, first of all I completed the pen & ink version…

I was nearly finished tinting the piece in Photoshop when Julie pointed out I’d spent around three times longer in Photoshop than I did with the pen & ink 🙂 Now I need to do something a bit more serious.
