Autumn Colours

The autumnal colours are really looking nice at the moment, fiery red leaves blazing against the deep shadows of the distant woods. So today I wandered around with the camera and looked at the colours, how the light caught a particular leaf whilst all the others were in shadow, it was the perfect time to be out with a camera. It was only logical for me to end up taking something which I intended to be in black and white

I did take some colour shots, I’ll sort them later

I took the plunge and purchased a new camera, of course the day it arrived there was grey cloud and no light to really play with the camera, then around 2100hrs the clouds broke just a little and I managed to grab one photograph of the pond.

In reflection it was a pleasant morning to have a trip around Ullswater. The reflections on the outward journey from Pooley Bridge were excellent, it’s not often you see the lake with reflections so perfect…
