The downpour continued, the lane turned into a mass of puddles and then into a river, any moment now I thought and Noah is going to go sailing past. Just when I thought the rain couldn&#8217;t get any worse the downpour became a solid wall of water, the last remnants of visibility vanished and I had no option but to stand and hope it cleared.
