Today I received a weather warning for the North West of England, slightly concerned I visited the website&#8230;<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nWhen I got to their website I saw the <em>North West<\/em> warning did not actually cover what many would really consider to be anywhere near the North of England.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.graeme-skinner.co.uk\/img\/met_regions.jpg\" alt=\"From the Met Office website\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.graeme-skinner.co.uk\/img\/met_fullmap.jpg\" alt=\"From the Met Office website\" \/><br \/>\n<em>(both images from metoffice.gov.uk)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So the question is, the next time I see a weather warning for the North West of England, do I ignore it thinking it&#8217;s likely to be no where near me again, or do I check every time I see a warning &#8211; perhaps if it pops up with a warning for the North East it may apply to us \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the magic of the interweb you can sign up for all kinds of automatic notifications, one I use quite a bit is the weather warnings from the Met Office.
