I sat down to do a serious, detailed study of Old Man Willow (as seen in J. R. R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings (just in case anyone was wondering)). So I’m unsure how I ended up doing this 😉 Tired of rescuing pesky Hobbits from the clutches of Old Man Willow, Tom Bombadil decided to put up a sign warning those approaching of the dangers. “If that doesn’t work, I’ll hack the darned thing down.” He muttered to himself walking away from the newly erected sign.

…..we’re almost there, we’ve almost finished the move, just a few boxes to unpack and a few bookcases to make and we’ll be sorted, I think…. Anyway, I’ve not had much chance to get the camera out lately which has been annoying me, almost as much as the limited time I’ve had with a pencil 😉 Still, I did manage a few photographs at the weekend. This is one of them, most folk will know the view well, or at least be familiar with it – Warnscale Bottom with Fleetwith…
