That brief stop
Driving home from work the other morning the valley below was starting to fill with mist. Bleary eyed from work and in need of a sleep I couldn’t resist the temptation to stop and watch the mist build up around the trees, filling small gullies before flowing out over the fields. Thankfully I had a camera with me, so managed a few images before deciding I really should get home and sleep. I’ll only post one image here, the rest I’m using for ‘Shire’ reference pieces 🙂

Sometimes you take a photograph for one thing and then you look at it on the screen and see something else there. This is a good example 😉 I was looking at the Bulrushes in the marshy ground by the wood and decided to take a couple of photographs as the wispy effect of the fibers looked quite good with the way the Sun hit them and the dark background.
