Visiting the Rollright Stones was one of our quicker visits of the trip as it was pouring with rain and windy. Luckily there was enough light for a photo or two.

Uffington White Horse
For some reason we both thought we’d visited Uffington White Horse the last time we were in the area, but as we drove towards it we realised that we’d never seen it in real life before. The Manor is only open a couple of times a week so we decided to reschedule a few things so we could fit it into our trip. We had the opportunity to visit the Tolkien: Maker of Middle-Earth exhibition at the Bodleian, Oxford earlier this month as we were visiting the area (okay, we visited Oxfordshire because the exhibition was on ;-)).
