There’s a passage in LotRs that’s always appealed to me as a possible one to attempt as an illustration, and whilst there are a few bits of this attempt that I like it still needs some work for me to think of it as finished. We enjoyed visiting the Jackie Morris exhibition at Rheged, Penrith a couple of times this summer. There was a poster on display which we liked however we couldn’t buy a copy (being a poor starving artist and the fact they had none left ;-)). Fast forward a week or three and I was looking for some type to play with, and I decided to make my own version (it’s just for fun), being digital it doesn’t have the same feel but I enjoyed playing.
