We were lucky to be invited to a friends place in France and managed to get over there for a visit last week, here’s part one of the pics I took (okay, I took a few more that will be used for reference images ;-)). Some images from Brantôme… Our friends place had a good supply of sweet chestnuts, but they were a a week or so from being ripe.

We had a wander this morning to look for a stone circle we’ve never visited before, we tried to find it years ago and completely missed it (but then we didn’t have a map or a phone with us ;-)). Luckily we found the Cockpit Stone Circle quite easily this time, was a bit strange visiting it on a busy day for walkers/cyclists/horse riders and for no one else to pause and look at the stone circle.
