We woke this morning to clear(ish) skies and mist filling the valley below, the combination of mist and pre-dawn light was calling “come and play…” but the need to work and pay bills called louder. Well, it’s in the first photo somewhere 😉 Anyway, I was off out to the shop this morning when I noticed a nice alignment of planets so grabbed the camera for a quick photo. Here’s a cropped labelled version. A while later (after shopping) I took a large panoramic of a misty dawn in the Eden valley.

I went for a little wander in a nearby field, the idea was to try and photograph the crops as the moved in the wind, I should really have taken the tripod 😉 And finally I photographed a supposed bird scaring creation…

*well I hope not anyway 😉 I decided to leave the house a bit earlier than usual in order to watch the Sun rise. It was quite nice to spend a quiet moment down by the river watching the mist swirl above it. Once the Sun appeared it was time to vanish off to work, though I did stop a couple of times to see how the mist filled the valley below.
