We decided to return to New England Bay caravan club site for a week away as we’d enjoyed our visit last year. The weather was exceptional and the light made it difficult to put the camera down 😉

Our second day out from the caravan by Luce Bay and we headed to Machars in search of standing stones and a few more beaches to wander on. The first stop (after the beach) was the Drumtroddan Standing Stones. We then went to look for St. Ninian’s Church at the Isle of Whithorn, saw the memorial to the crew of the Solway Harvester and yes, wandered on a beach.
