Driving home this morning from work I noticed a little mist rising from the rivers and starting to fill the little valleys and hollows. It was rather chilly for a May morning, okay, it was icy cold and the frost was covering the verges as I drove along. I stopped first of all to take a few photographs of the sunrise and the misty landscapes.
I then stopped by the river at Langwathby to watch the mist rise from the water and spread across the nearby fields, I was of course too tired to be playing next to icy water with a camera, but thankfully I (just) avoided falling in.
