We were out and about today mainly for a couple of things from the shops, but it was an excuse to take the cameras out for a ride π The greens were very bright in the Sunlight and the trees were starting to shine against the clouds. Moonlight Magic
Some scenes lend themselves to the moonlight more than others, when I decided to paint a couple of Moon orientated paintings trying to capture the magic of a moonlit Castlerigg Stone Circle was something that sprang to mind almost straight away. Well, to be honest my thoughts went along the lines of – moonlit Shire… moonlit stone circle, having painted the Shire in moonlight it was time to attempt a stone circle.

Driving home this morning from work I noticed a little mist rising from the rivers and starting to fill the little valleys and hollows. It was rather chilly for a May morning, okay, it was icy cold and the frost was covering the verges as I drove along.
