A different route
I took a slightly different route for my morning walk, it was quite enjoyable and I certainly discovered a couple of new views which will be worth visiting again in the future. The clouds were quite heavy first thing, and there had been a dusting of snow, but the light breaking through the cloud and hitting the Pennines attracted me to make another panoramic, there is a larger version of the above image here. There’s more to the above image, but for some reason the right hand side was blurring…

After my spell earlier today photographing the Moon and ISS I thought my camera would be left in the bag for the rest of the day. Then I noticed how the clouds looked over the Pennines and there was no way I could leave the camera idle π

This morning I got my camera gear ready for the ISS pass which I was cleverly notified of via Twitter, gone are the days of trying to work out when objects will be visible in the night sky, I just wait for the tweet π Armed with the relevant information, wrapped in a couple of layers to ward off the cold winds which had developed over night I stepped outside around 0530hrs to get ready. The cloud was fairly high towards the East and was also flitting around the Moon…
