The best laid plans…

Mist in the valley

After my trip to Ullswater, it was time to return home and feed the chickens and find something for breakfast, however after feeding the chickens I was distracted by the mist in the valley and the Sun as it poked above the Pennines.

Ullswater before dawn

This morning I noticed the Moon looked nice over the fells so I took the camera and tripod down to Ullswater. It was getting fairly low when I reached the lake but I managed a few shots before it vanished.
