We were going out this morning (delivering cakes as you do) and had to pause to look at the hot air balloon above the mist filled valleys.
Then I noticed Brougham Castle poking from the mist.

We had a quick trip out yesterday, down the side of Ullswater and over Kirkstone Pass....
I really like your ‘Above the mist’ photograph. This reminds me of something either you painted in the past before, or one of the other ‘Howers’ — of a ballooning nature.
