We decided to spend the night at Peel Castle to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and booked the attic apartment, after what feels like weeks of rain the weather cleared for our trip and after a pleasant drive we arrived at the castle. The castle was purchased in 2004 by Karen & Francis who renovated it from little more than a pile of stone to a luxurious bed and breakfast (the renovation was featured on the Channel 4 show Grand Designs).
