Driving to work this morning and the traffic was slow going (okay, it was some elderly gent driving up the middle of the road at 20MPH but it was painful ;-)). So I decided to pause at the side of the road for a moment and look at the scenery, I’m pleased I did as the early morning light was just catching Wild Boar Fell.
A bit further on I noticed some misty patches and paused again for another photo.
After work I trundled towards home, the traffic was proving to be interesting again so I paused for a wander at Pendragon Castle.
I wondered whether to say this before, but I think I will now, since you’re now uploading a few more fine images…
There’s something both moody and striking about your ‘Mallerstang’. Its got a kind of ‘from the dark’ awakening that I find intriguing. I can imagine this on an unnamed box of dark chocolates box, maybe?
…Maybe, those After Eights would do themselves a power of good with this image set into the packaging — kind of like a largish stamp might be viewed, either to one side or folded along the center, while partially covering two sides. π
It was a moody day by the castle, I could have spent quite some time there but I had other places to be π
