We had the opportunity to visit the Tolkien: Maker of Middle-Earth exhibition at the Bodleian, Oxford earlier this month as we were visiting the area (okay, we visited Oxfordshire because the exhibition was on ;-)). Weeping Window
The Weeping Window has been on display at Carlisle Castle for a month now and we have been meaning to get up to see it but something has got in the way every time we planned on going. So yesterday we managed to get up to see it, the weather wasn’t brilliant but it was still nice to see it and wander around the castle walls under the poppies.
