Gillcambon Beck

On the common

Driving along Caldbeck Common this weekend we stopped by the windswept Rowan tree for a photo stop, I’m glad we did as the tree looked nice in the brief patches of sunlight that kept passing over the common. I’ll be making this one into a print soon.

Driving home from Keswick today we took the road via Caldbeck Common and noticed the light over the Lakeland Fells was looking interesting, so we stopped and I made a quick dash up a small hill for a photograph.

On the Common

We drove West to see my folks this morning and I had to stop for a couple of photographs on Caldbeck Common. This has to be one of my favourite trees… Then there was the view over to the snow covered fells…. I need to get on the tops one of these days soon and take the view looking down rather than looking up 😉
