I had this random idea to draw/paint a selection of waterfalls from around Cumbria, so to get some practice in I found a random waterfall image from the area and started a pen and ink piece, along the way I decided to add some watercolour washes then shade it a bit more in Photoshop. Now I need to get a canvas, some oil paints and try to do the scene properly π

I started a pen & ink drawing of Rannerdale Knotts as it’s a view I’ve not tried before. So obviously I picked up the watercolours for this pen & ink π anyway, after a bit of splashing paint around I had finished and wasn’t to annoyed by the result which was a nice change. I took a quick scan of it then went to work. Now I look at it on the computer I’m not sure why I thought it was okay, time to go back to the drawing board…
