I started a pen & ink drawing of Rannerdale Knotts as it’s a view I’ve not tried before. So obviously I picked up the watercolours for this pen & ink 😉 anyway, after a bit of splashing paint around I had finished and wasn’t to annoyed by the result which was a nice change. I took a quick scan of it then went to work. Now I look at it on the computer I’m not sure why I thought it was okay, time to go back to the drawing board…

I had a scrap of illustration board lying around so I decided to practice a landscape in watercolour, well, I’ve been painting quite a few night scenes lately something in daylight was in order 😉 . I’ve never tried one of Great Dun Fell before so I picked that as a subject. It’s one I need to revisit soon.
