I went for a little wander in a nearby field, the idea was to try and photograph the crops as the moved in the wind, I should really have taken the tripod 😉 And finally I photographed a supposed bird scaring creation…

*well I hope not anyway 😉 I decided to leave the house a bit earlier than usual in order to watch the Sun rise. It was quite nice to spend a quiet moment down by the river watching the mist swirl above it. Once the Sun appeared it was time to vanish off to work, though I did stop a couple of times to see how the mist filled the valley below.

There was a fair amount of moisture in the air this morning, and what I had hoped would be wisps of mist in the valley turned out to be thick fog in places. Still after a few false starts (stopping the car as the view looked promising only to discover it wasn’t worth the effort ;-)) I managed a couple of misty sunrise images and some dew covered grass shots.

When I was out wandering with the dog this morning the sky was perfect, a nice strong blue with the odd cloud dotted about. So, when I had to go to the post office a short while later I decided to extend the journey a little and take some photographs while I was out. I was intending taking some larger landscapes today, but we were stuck in fog and murk all day. Eventually I decided to wander down to a small waterfall and take a few photographs. I could not decide whether to leave this one in colour or black and white, so I’ve uploaded both, some will like the colour, some the b&w.
