This weekend we had a friend staying with us from Brazil, so we offered to show her around the area, of course the Cumbrian weather did its best to try and dampen our spirits but it failed 😉 So here are a few photographs of our whistle stop tour of Cumbria – As you can see, at the end of the tour the weather was perfect 😉

For some time I have been trying to find a way of allowing people who visit this site a way of zooming and scrolling around the larger panoramics that I post. There are a few solutions online but I have yet to find one I am truly happy with. Well, another first of the season anyway. Last night (or rather early early this morning) I decided to take a couple of night sky photographs, I was at work so I could not move far (well I could stand at the bottom of the steps at work and still hear the phone ring so that was my range ;-)).
