This morning I had an early wander, the Sun had yet to show her face and the Moon wasn’t giving off much light yet there was still enough to see by. By the time I’d wandered through the wood I could see mist starting to rise from the fields and fill the hollows between the small hills. Going Downstream
Yesterday it rained, it rained in the morning, quite heavily from what I remember. It rained at lunchtime, still fairly heavily but I was hiding inside well away from the weather π It rained in the afternoon too, actually, it rained from early(ish) morning to early evening. Rain isn’t all that unusual for us around here, but it is unusual for me to be actually off the day after it rained and for me to have a little free time to go play in the stream through the wood π…

We woke this morning to clear(ish) skies and mist filling the valley below, the combination of mist and pre-dawn light was calling “come and play…” but the need to work and pay bills called louder. As a compromise I set off early in the hope of grabbing a quick photo before work. Halfway into the journey and the car almost drove itself on the slight detour down to the river Eden at Lazonby.
