From Little to Long Meg

We’ve searched for Little Meg Stone Circle a couple of times and walked past it without seeing it πŸ˜‰ so the other day we decided it was the time to find it at last. Luckily it was nice weather for a wander and we found it easily (it helps to look up the location before you head out). More glass

More stained glass practice… this time it was all joined by lead came rather than copper foil/solder. It proved harder than I thought it would mainly down to a problem with the lead came, the heart of the came was off centre so it ran off at odd angles and made it difficult to hold the glass in place. Stained

I’ve wanted to try my hand at stained glass for a while, but a few things put me off, the main one being that I could never cut glass πŸ˜‰ whenever I tried before the glass would break anywhere but the place I’d scored it. There was only one thing I could do, buy some glass and try again…. for some reason this time I tried the glass would break along the scored line nice and cleanly – I don’t know what I did differently but at least it worked…

Sunsets and Stained Glass

Yesterday I took a few photographs of the Sun as it set behind a small Oak tree, but as I was tired I decided to leave the photographs until this morning to sort out. So, this morning I uploaded the photographs to the computer and looked at the thumbnails.
