Machair Ghallghaidhealaibh

Our second day out from the caravan by Luce Bay and we headed to Machars in search of standing stones and a few more beaches to wander on. The first stop (after the beach) was the Drumtroddan Standing Stones. We then went to look for St. Ninian’s Church at the Isle of Whithorn, saw the memorial to the crew of the Solway Harvester and yes, wandered on a beach.

Na Rannaibh

Our first day in Scotland started nice and early (thanks to Hugo pestering us to go out), so we had a wander on the beach as the Sun slowly mades it way above the horizon. Wander over and we had a nice breakfast looking out over Luce Bay and decided to have a drive around the Rhins of Galloway.
