For some reason we both thought we’d visited Uffington White Horse the last time we were in the area, but as we drove towards it we realised that we’d never seen it in real life before. Parking up we had to run the gauntlet of the National Trust warden trying to get us to sign up as members so we could park for free :-/ but we resisted and paid to park instead. It was blowing a gale as we walked to the view point but it was nice light so the walk was worth it. As we got to the top above the white horse the wind increased and we only spent a short while up there but the views were excellent and I took numerous photographs for reference.
