Can’t see the wood for the copper

We thought the wall above the bed would be the ideal place for something a bit different, so, we decided to make a copper tree to go above it. After two reels of copper wire, much cutting, twisting, and bending we have a tree πŸ˜‰ at the moment it’s half summer half winter, maybe in a while I’ll turn it completely to a leaf covered summer tree.

Great Dun Fell

I had a scrap of illustration board lying around so I decided to practice a landscape in watercolour, well, I’ve been painting quite a few night scenes lately something in daylight was in order πŸ˜‰ . I’ve never tried one of Great Dun Fell before so I picked that as a subject. It’s one I need to revisit soon.
