My camera went away to Nikon recently to have something or other tinkered with, it was part of a recall scheme, anyway after a few weeks away it was returned to me and I’ve been popping down to the pond to get used to it again 😉

It’s taken a while, but I’ve finally got something to post on here 😉 it feels like we’ve have weeks of grey skies, rain, snow, wind…. well in truth we have, but at least yesterday I managed to get out in between rain/sleet/wind to take a quick photograph – yes it did feel good to get out with the camera but sadly I couldn’t repeat the experience today. The autumnal colours are really looking nice at the moment, fiery red leaves blazing against the deep shadows of the distant woods. So today I wandered around with the camera and looked at the colours, how the light caught a particular leaf whilst all the others were in shadow, it was the perfect time to be out with a camera.
