Driving home this morning from work I noticed a little mist rising from the rivers and starting to fill the little valleys and hollows. It was rather chilly for a May morning, okay, it was icy cold and the frost was covering the verges as I drove along. Well, ‘slight’ might be stretching it a bit 😉 This morning we visited Pendragon Castle which is located in Mallerstang, just outside Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria. We drove West to see my folks this morning and I had to stop for a couple of photographs on Caldbeck Common. This has to be one of my favourite trees… Then there was the view over to the snow covered fells….
