Fade to Black (& White)

We were out and about today mainly for a couple of things from the shops, but it was an excuse to take the cameras out for a ride πŸ˜‰ The greens were very bright in the Sunlight and the trees were starting to shine against the clouds. Mystified

Driving home this morning from work I noticed a little mist rising from the rivers and starting to fill the little valleys and hollows. It was rather chilly for a May morning, okay, it was icy cold and the frost was covering the verges as I drove along. In need of slight renovation

Well, ‘slight’ might be stretching it a bit πŸ˜‰ This morning we visited Pendragon Castle which is located in Mallerstang, just outside Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria. The reason for our visit was mainly down to the Aubretia I’d spotted on the castle walls yesterday (when I had no time to stop and no camera with me either).
