Driving to one of the locations I work has a particular point where I pause if I have time, the only reason I pause is down to the way the trees and grass for a perfect window onto the landscape beyond.

I started a pen & ink drawing of Rannerdale Knotts as it’s a view I’ve not tried before. So obviously I picked up the watercolours for this pen & ink 😉 anyway, after a bit of splashing paint around I had finished and wasn’t to annoyed by the result which was a nice change. I took a quick scan of it then went to work. Now I look at it on the computer I’m not sure why I thought it was okay, time to go back to the drawing board…
