I thought I’d paint another landscape as it’s been a while since I’ve worked on one, so I decided on the view looking down over Buttermere and Crummock. Given it is supposed to be summer we’ve had far too many cloudy grey sky days recently. I’d been hoping for some nice summer days to get out with the camera and sketch book, and whilst there have been some nice days they’ve been too few for my liking π So, given the weather wasn’t playing nice I decided to make the best of it and try to use the clouds and patchy light to my advantage.
