There is something to be said for get up at stupid times of the day (or night in this case). Quick change
It wasn’t that much of a shock that the mini-heatwave we’d been experiencing didn’t last too long, it was a bit of a surprise to see snow falling so enthusiastically. At least I could get home from work and there was enough light for a photograph or two 😉

This evening we had a quick run out to Long Meg stone circle, yes, we were just there the other day but Venus & Jupiter were looking good and the Moon was breaking through the cloud. So thick jacket on, we parked up and I wandered about the stones. It’s hard to relate the sense of magic and wonder you feel wandering around a moonlit stone circle with the stars and planets above.
