I’d been at work all night but decided to set an early alarm to see if the weather was being kind enough to allow a view of the eclipse. We took a run down by Long Meg and her Daughters stone circle this evening as the sun was heading towards the horizon. I was nice to spend an hour or so wandering about with the Moon riding high above the stones and the sun setting behind the distant hills.
