Back into the valley
After the smaller study a week or so ago I attempted a larger version in watercolour, this one is 66 x 22.5cm. I’m still pondering and dithering as to whether this is the final version or whether it should be in oils π Actually, I quite like the left hand wall so maybe I won’t try again. I had this random idea to draw/paint a selection of waterfalls from around Cumbria, so to get some practice in I found a random waterfall image from the area and started a pen and ink piece, along the way I decided to add some watercolour washes then shade it a bit more in Photoshop. Now I need to get a canvas, some oil paints and try to do the scene properly π
