I was trying to come up with an idea for a picture on the theme of mirrors, and I started to think, we don’t always let ourselves see what is really being reflected. So, I opted to paint the stereotypical fantasy geek/nerd in his bedroom with grim looking walls and shelves filled with books. Looking in the mirror he doesn’t see the his drab room or his bald chubby face looking back at him π

I love that picture.
Very good work. The bookshelf is awesome, your people are getting better and better, and you have a very clever use of colours here ( the grayish “real world” vs the bright fantasy world).
If I had to nitpick, I’d say the bed is _very_ long, but then, personally, I’d love tho have a bed that long. :o)
Keep ’em coming, Graeme!
Cheers, Tobi
Thanks Tobi, it’s a Cumbrian bed, we make them extra long π Julie thought it looked a bit long too.
