Our first day in Scotland started nice and early (thanks to Hugo pestering us to go out), so we had a wander on the beach as the Sun slowly mades it way above the horizon. Wander over and we had a nice breakfast looking out over Luce Bay and decided to have a drive around the Rhins of Galloway. Our first stop was the Mull of Galloway lighthouse, the wind had picked up by this point and the clouds kept changing rapidly. I hadn’t realised that we were almost halfway…

We went in search of the sea at Southport, however it was low tide so we ended up walking and walking and the sea was always out of reach. Quite a long way out of reach actually, we stopped walking after a mile and a half deciding to return when the tide was in again. I did like this image of Julie wandering towards the Sun so made it into a print π
