I was trying to sketch some ideas this morning, the curtains were open, and I tried to ignore the outside world until I managed to get something onto paper worth looking at. Unfortunately the Sun was breaking through the cloud and illuminating a thin layer of mist in the Eden Valley, so I put down the sketchbook and picked up the camera. Now I should really pick up the sketchbook again and work out what I was thinking of this morning, before I became a little distracted.

I had an idea for a map based on the ‘theme of the month’ over on John Howe’s website. However instead of writing the story down I decided it would be good to see what the map looked like… Now I’ve spent so long drawing the map I no longer remember what I was going to write :-/
