The autumnal colours are really looking nice at the moment, fiery red leaves blazing against the deep shadows of the distant woods. So today I wandered around with the camera and looked at the colours, how the light caught a particular leaf whilst all the others were in shadow, it was the perfect time to be out with a camera. Away with the fairies
I’ve been away with the fairies for the last couple of weeks, well, I’ve been reading about some of the myths surrounding fairies, fay, fae, fair folk…. I started with Tolkien’s On Fairy Stories, which felt like a natural starting point, I then went on to read Tolkien’s Smith of Wootton Major for obvious reasons π and delved into Celtic Twilight by Yeats.
