I thought I’d return to Oxford for a little bit of architectural paint time and found a photo I’d taken of the entrance to the Bodleian Library. The painting went well for a change, no issues along the way, that is until I started darkening the outside of the painting – the airbrush clogged, then splurted, then worked well but only for a few seconds…. So, it was either throw the painting into the bin or use photoshop to save it 😉

There was an episode of Red Dwarf back I the ‘80s that I remember watching which stuck with me for some reason. It was (according to the reviews) the worst episode of Red Dwarf they made in that series, and maybe they had a point looking back at it. The thing that stuck with me from that episode however was a line by Lister…. I have to say it, I agree with Chen’s theory, well I agree up to a point 😉 there do appear to be two voices competing…

I was stood in the workshop about to plane some wood and thought “I wonder if I could turn a lidded box”, so I did 😉 The main bowl and lid is turned from Iroko and the finial is Oak….
